Dear Mary, Dear Martha is a diaristic and hypnotic exploration into the pasts and futures of tenderness. The book begins with text and evolves into a confluence of performance and memory. The images explore personal symbols from my night terrors and dreams. The body and camera play synonymous roles as interpreters of light and time to build an archeology of tenderness that is composed of opposites and the space in between them. This project is a traveling through time and a benevolence towards the opposing forces that exist in all time.
